Katie, Garden Specialist
Katie worked during 2018 for CSG. She graduated from Portland State University with a master’s degree in Leadership for Sustainability Education. After a brief project in New Zealand working as a youth outdoor program coordinator, Katie returned to Portland to study permaculture and plant systems of the Pacific Northwest. She designed many beautiful plant combinations using permaculture and succession planting techniques. Her real love is working with young people and she is now working in Tigard with “Fresh Youth Farm” teaching garden-based education and life skills full time. Fortunately, she continues to work with CSG during her spare time.
